Rani missed a wardrobe malfunction…

Actress Rani Mukherjee found her ghagra slipping down during a dance performance on stage for Big Star Entertainment Awards in Mumbai recently.
The actress took the stage in a black sequined dress and danced to the songs from her films, including a number from her upcoming film No One Killed Jessica.
But what troubled her constantly was her loose-fitting ghagra which kept sliding down during the performance. As a result of the broad girth of the ghagra, the actress had to rush backstage a number of times during her performance to adjust the costume.
After the performance, Rani gave her designer the rough edge of her tongue for giving her an ill-fitting ghagra, so much so that the designer was almost in tears, we hear.
Normally, Rani opts for dresses by her trusted designers, but this time she had roped in a newbie.

It was reportedly a wild party that went on all night. the hush hush bash was completely off limits to the media.
Well, Preity Zinta, the owner of Kings XI Punjab, did have a reason to party. After all, her IPL team got a slight lease of life from the court.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra are all set to tie the knot early next year. Or are they? According to reports circulating in the media, an engagement is soon on the cards for this actress – director jodi who apparently became close to one another during the time they spent working in various films together. The release date of ‘No One Killed Jessica’ is fast approaching and the cast and crew of the film are busy promoting the upcoming Bollywood venture. Knowing that her middle finger act has raised a lot of eyebrows, Rani Mukerji does not mind if her upcoming film on the real life story based on the murder of Jessica Lal is awarded an adult certificate by the censor board in India. In fact, Rani Mukerji has said in a statement to the media that she will be very happy if her upcoming film gets an adult certificate!

 

The actress plays a crime reporter in the film and according to what Rani Mukerji has said in her interviews to the media, it is only her character in the film which does not have any connection to the real life incident surrounding Delhi based model Jessica Lal. Rani Mukerji’s fictional character, Meera, signifies how aggressive the media in India can be and how at times they can take up the reins of justice in their own hands. The bold and fearless attitude of Meera was what attracted Rani Mukerji towards the role and she agreed to play it for the big screen.
Joining Rani Mukerji in ‘No One Killed Jessica’ is actress Vidya Balan. She plays Jessica Lal’s real life sister Sabrina in the film. The title of the film and its incidents are inspired from an article in The Times Of India after the accused in the Jessica Lal murder case were acquitted in the year 2006.
